    Hi everyone,

A former colleague of mine has been in touch and asked if I knew of any organisations who actively sought volunteer researchers to support their work. They’re particularly interested in supporting efforts to protect children. I appreciate that there are a number of worthy causes out there and wondered if any members had any advice on who to approach and how, what kind of commitment the organisation asked for and any other information which may be of interest to this and other fellow Osinters.

I’m Neil, who runs https://www.uk-osint.net/ and thought I would let people know about https://locate.international/ which I helped create & run.

We are a UK Registered Charity, using Volunteers & Universities to look into Missing People & Unidentified Body cases in the UK. About 93% of missing people are located with 48hrs of going missing but there are over 6,000 people who have been missing in the UK for more than 12months and and over 1,000 unidentified bodies in the UK.

We have an OSINT Team looking into these cases and as we are growing, working closer with the UK Police & families, so we always have a need for OSINT Practitioners to help look into cases.

You can apply to join & volunteer at https://locate.international/volunteer-vacancies
